In 2002, Elaine Hastings founded Associates in Nutrition & Sports Specialty, a consulting company proving service and support to businesses and individuals.  She is currently in the processes of authoring a book and publishing articles.

She began her career as an intern at the University of Michigan Medical Center and as president of her student Dietetic Association. As such, Elaine stands as the go-to wellness expert, motivational speaker, seminar host and product researcher for numerous Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, community organizations, franchise organizations, fitness clubs, doctors’ offices, universities and schools. She has also served as Chief Scientific Officer with sports and supplement companies, where she conducted scientific research and developed ground breaking products.

Elaine has proven herself as an impactful and highly sought after expert in the nutrition field and as a result, has achieved the status of ISPA Diplomate, the highest achievable by invitation only. She co-founded a county-wide health and wellness initiative in that proved so successful it has been adopted and used as a platform for health, wellness and fitness programs around the world. She was president of Southwest Florida Dietetic Association (SWFDA) and founded the Association in Nutrition Therapy and Sports Nutrition Authority, a consulting company proving service and support to businesses and individuals alike.
